BUREAU OF INDIAN
AFFAIRS
Length: 0.3 miles
The Bureau of Indian Affairs is a one-way, expert level trail that begins near the halfway point on
Split Ears, increases in elevation and runs along the side of the hill above and parallel to Split Ears. It is approximately 0.3 miles in length and includes
numerous technically challenging sections and some very unique trail construction designs. After a sweeping downhill (Two-Dog Turn), the Bureau merges into
Split Ears just south of the junction of Tough Breaks.
In addition to its unique design, The Bureau of Indian Affairs will eventually boast some interesting displays of historical material pertaining to events on
and near the Bar-H during the late 1800's.
